Seen in Look 38 on the SS26 runway, Ulla Johnson’s Novalie Organza Trench Coat brings Helen Frankenthaler’s 1973 painting Nature Abhors a Vacuum into a dramatic outerwear silhouette. The multicoloured print captures vivid, painterly fields of colour across transparent silk organza.
Designed for an oversized fit, it floats lightly on the form and can be drawn in with the removable waist tie. Exaggerated notch lapels, side pockets and an internal button closure give the statement shape a considered finish.
