This is Silk Laundry’s wide-leg interpretation of their signature bias pant, made from 30 momme silk satin rather than their standard 19 momme weight. The heavier fabrication creates a stronger drape and more substantial fall, while the intentionally raw-edge hem adds an architectural element to what might otherwise be a straightforward silhouette. The bias cut still provides movement through the wide leg, balanced by the practical pull-on elastic waist.
Made from 100% silk satin woven in China and cut on the bias, these pants sit regular through the hip before opening into a wide leg. They’re unlined—the 30 momme weight provides excellent coverage—and finished with internal French seams. The brand recommends hand washing in cold water or dry cleaning, and suggests pairing with something simple on top: a tailored shirt, silk tank or fine knit to let the architectural cut do the talking.
